Interested in Research? Become a UCF Summer Research Academy Scholar!

Each summer UCF hosts some of our brightest incoming transfer students and current rising sophomores and juniors for three days, during which SRA Scholars will:

• Learn about the nature of university research and how research expands your undergraduate experience
• Meet with research faculty and other students active in research at UCF
• Explore research opportunities available to undergraduate students at UCF
• Earn one summer credit for work accomplished as an SRA scholar

Whether your interests lie in the humanities, the hard and applied sciences, the social sciences, or business, the Summer Research Academy (SRA) has something to offer you.

Dates for the fifth annual SRA have been set for June 25 - 27, 2009. The three-day event will be held at the UCF Orlando Campus.

Credit and housing (if needed) are provided FREE to all SRA Scholars.

• Apply: Student Participants Does research interest you? Transfer students, as well as UCF rising sophomores and juniors, are invited to apply to become a 2009 SRA Scholar.
• Apply: Peer Mentors Are you an undergraduate already engaged in research? UCF students with experience in research and creative activities bring vital knowledge with them to SRA which they share with participants.
• Apply: Faculty Do you want to meet students interested in research? Faculty bring a wealth of experience in a diverse range of research areas through hosting a site visit, developing a workshop, or presenting a poster at the research showcase.
